オンタデ。
北海道の大雪山、本州中部地方以北に分布する多年生草本。
富士山におけるオンタデの垂直分布は海抜 1400m 〜 3300mと高山帯にまで及ぶ。根はほぼ垂直に伸び 1m を越す。

P. weyrichii is a herbaceous perennial, distributed on subalpine to alpine region of Mt. Taisetsu in Hokkaido and northern part of Honshu in Japan.
It is distributed at 1400m to 3300m on Mt. Fuji and known as high altitudinal distributed plant.
It has well developed root systems with long taproot (longer than 1m) that help to establishment of this species on slope site where soil movement is frequent.
