イタドリ。
本州中部地方以北に分布する多年生草本。
イタドリの垂直分布は海抜 0m 〜 2800mと幅広い。また、赤い花（翼）をつけるものは「メイゲツソウ」と呼ばれる。
森林限界付近ではシュートが集まったパッチ状の群落をつくる。

Polygonum cuspidatum is a herbaceous perennial, originated from the lowland of the temperate region of Japan, and it is distributed up to the alpine region at 2500m to 2700m above sea level on Mt. Fuji.
This species forms patches by vegetative
growth. It is found on bare-ground and near
on the timberline.
