サラシナショウマ。
落葉樹林の林床、林縁に生育する多年生草本。
富士山では西側の御中道（亜高山帯）で良くみられる。

C. simplex is a herbaceous perennial.
Generally, it is growing on the deciduous forest floor and on the border of forest.
It is widely distributed around Ochudou (road) at west slope of Mt. Fuji.
